Ladies and Gentlemen

Let’s us say thank to God Almighty, Lord of the World, King of the King, and the Power over, who has given us His mercies and blessings. Because of Him we can gather here with a good condition, without any trouble..Alhamdulillah..

Sholawat and prayer we will say to our greatest prophet Muhammad SAW, His family, His friends, and His followers that bring us from the darkness to the brightness period. And He is the only Rasul who delighted by Him to deliver a true religion where bring a peace to the world, it is Islam as Rahmatan lil ‘alamin..

Ladies and gentlemen

Before I give speech more, let me introduce myself, my name is Farida Rahmawati. Let me speak thanks to the judges who made me stand up here. I thank to all my teachers who help me to be a smart student and a pious student. My thank also to all of you here who pay attention here.

Ladies and gentlemen

            In this occasion, I would like to deliver a speech and the title is “islam is rahmatan lil ‘alamin”

At the begin of my speech, I said that Islam is  a true religion where bring a peace to the world as Rahmatan lil ‘alalmin. Islam is also a true religion where bought by our greatest prophet, Muhammad SAW. This is true.

And before I give speech more, it will be better if we know what the meaning of islam, what the meaning of rahmatan, and also the meaning of ‘alamin…

First, the meaning of islam is from the word of Arabic language “salima”, it means peace and save.

The meaning of rahmatan is from the word of Arabic language too “rahima”, it means love.

And the last, the meaning of ‘alamin is also from the word of Arabic language “ ‘alima”, it means universe.

So, islam is rahmatan lil ‘alaamin has the meaning is Islam that is attendance of middle society able to create peace and love for the moslems in the universe.

I remember what our God said,

Wa maa arsalnaka illa rahmatan lil ‘alamin

It means, “and we don’t delighted you but to be God mercy to the universe”

From this ayat we can conclude that Islam is a religion where bring the mercies and  blessings from Allah to the moslems in around the world.

Our prophet had done explained about islam, that islam is built by five thing, there are: believe to God Almighty and His prophet, pray or do the five times of sholat, paid the zakat, fasting in Ramadhan month, and the last is Haji.

But, do you know the condition of the world before islam come to the world?

The condition of the world before islam come was very bad and sadness. Where most people worship human, stone, statue, trees, sun, moon, that all is created by Allah SWT. The cruel occurred everywhere. Who had power would be win and frightened, and the weak others would be oppressed. Even, they (I mean, the man who lived before islam come), they think give birth the girl is the shame for them. So, they killed their daughter. And many cruelty others.

Ladies and gentlemen

Then Islam come and after Islam came, the condition of the world change. Although  with a storm and stress by our prophet, Muhammad SAW. It is better….

Islam teaches them to remember and pray only to Allah SWT, not the stone, statue, trees or whatever, that all is created by Allah SWT.

Islam teaches them to believe that Muhammad is the true person who had chosen by Allah SWT as the greatest prophet ever.

Islam teaches them to know and to love each other, not to hate or in fact to kill the others, even their daughter.

And the important too, Islam teach them not to be afraid with a man who has power or a rich man. Because the strongest is Allah SWT.

So, we all know, after islam came, the most nobles person at Allah side is the person who pious to Allah SWT. They aren’t, who has power and riches.

Innallloha laa yandhuru ila ajsamikum wa laa ila showarikum, walakin yandhuru ila qulubikum wa akmalikum

Ladies and gentlemen

I think that’s all from me, from what I said, we can conclude that we are as students, we have to be a pious and smart students to thank to God that we live with Islam  as Rahmatan lil ‘alamin. And also  we have to remember that, without islam the universe can’t be glow like this time, of course by Muhammad and His followers.

OK, Thank you very much for your attention, if I have some mistakes to all of you, I hope all of you to forgive me.
